This is my own travel notebook, cleaned up. Read it that way: not a brochure, but what I wrote down island by island. Which order makes sense, where to sleep each night, what it actually cost, and what nobody tells you until you are already there.

Every contact in it is someone I met, stayed with or dived with myself.

Four complete itineraries, written day by day: 7, 10, 15 and 21 days. A chapter on choosing your island, and another on the homestays themselves, the ones I slept in and the ones I would book next, with what I paid. Then the budget, in real receipts, per route. Plus an interactive map with every spot pinned.

The island decision tree

1,500 islands and one real question: where do you sleep? Three questions settle it: whether it is your first time, how long you are staying, and what you actually came for. Six islands compared on what each one costs you in boat time, in money and in quiet. It is the page that took the longest to build, and the one readers come back to.
